Realme 5 Pro - Rollback, Upgrade, Custom Recovery

This article will show you how to do unlock bootloader, downgrade, upgrade, flash stock ROM on Realme UI1 and also Realme UI2 on Realme 5 Pro.

Downgrade 

  • Download roll back from here
  • copy to internal storage/ SDcard
  • select update from the file

Unlock Bootloader

To do unlock bootloader, you must rollback to RUI1 Android 10 Stock ROM
  • Install DeepTesting_realme 5pro
  • Select In Depth Test, wait untill approved
  • reboot bootloader
  • fastboot flashing unlock
  • Choose Unlock
  • fastboot reboot

Upgrade / Flash RUI 2 Stock FW

If you need to upgade to RUI2

Steps To Upgrade

  • Reboot ke Recovery
  • Wipe dalvik cache data system vendor
  • Flash Stock ROM
  • If you have this error, just ignored it
    Mount :failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/userdata at /data:Device or resource busy" 
  • Flash vbmeta.img into vbmeta partition
  • Reboot recovery
  • Mount > mount vendor
  • Navigate to vendor folder
  • Delete / Rename Recovery.from.boot.p
  • Format Data
  • Reboot System
  • Done
Note :  If you still bootlop/ always reboot recovery altough there is no error message. You should try flash firmware f.06 + vbmeta and then format data

Flash TWRP For RUI1

Steps

  • adb reboot bootloader
  • fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
  • reboot to recovery
  • select image install
  • flash vbmeta
