Redmi A2/ A2+/ POCO C51 | Instant UBL & Magisk Root (water/cloud)

Complete Tutorial how to root your Xiaomi Redmi A2/ A2+ / POCO C51 (water/cloud) on latest stock ROM . Make sure follow all the instruction.

  • Tips, use same stock fw and just flast my boot.img if want to do simple! If you have difference fw, patch you own boot.mg
  • Take IMEI Backup !! Store backup on pc/sdcard (nvram,nvdata,persist,persistents,protect_f,protect_s and EFS for snapdragon)

New Method 2024

This is the latest method that work, UBL Redmi A2 New Security. You must rollback to firmware water_global_images_V14.0.9.0.TGOMIXM_13.0
  • Turn of phone
  • Open any free tools (such GSM sulteng)
  • Press Bypass auth
  • press 3 button & plugin USB (brom mode)
  • flash the rollback firmware
  • When finish turn on the phone
  • force reboot and boot into brom mode again
  • boot into fastboot (vol down  + power)
  • open GSM sulteng again
  • Press Bypass UBL
  • flash firmware again from fastboot
  • fastboot oem cdms fix (if needed)
  • flash boot & vbmeta (if needed)
  • boot into android

File Needed To Root Redmi A2/ A2+ / POCO C51

Step to Bypass UBL

  • Make sure backup all the data
  • Remove all the email and Mi Account
  • Install USBDK Driver and extract the MTK GSM Sulteng
  • Turn Of You’re Phone
  • On the tab Menu, select Phone type (1)
  • In The List Select your phone model (2)
  • Select UBL (unlock bootloader) in the check list button (3)
  • Hit Execute Button (4)
  • When it start loading (waiting For Device Connection) (5), Press booth volume up and volume down and plug your USB cable
  • It is done when you see a message “ALL IS DONE”
  • Un plug USB Cable and press Power Button To Turn On Your phone

Instruction To Root A2/ A2+ / POCO C51

  • Unlock Bootloader
  • Download stock ROM according to your phone/or flash it
  • extract boot.img
  • install magisk apk
  • patch boot.img
  • boot into fastboot
  • flash the boot.img
  • fastboot flash boot boot.img
  • fastboot reboot
